INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS MONITORING Powered by NETEX SECURITY

Warehouse visibility · Selected priority views

Keep important warehouse activity in view, across shifts.

Warehouse priorities change when the receiving team leaves, cleaners arrive or the next shift starts. GlobalEye helps you define which entrances and internal areas need attention at each point. Human monitoring follows your agreed schedule and instructions, giving managers a documented account of relevant observations without treating camera footage as a complete record of warehouse operations.

Human observation. Agreed procedures. Clear reporting.

THE AREAS THAT MATTER

A monitoring plan for warehouses.

01

Entrances and shared access

Select views of staff doors, visitor approaches and receiving entrances. Agree how access expectations change between shifts and during closures. Monitoring can highlight observable exceptions for confirmation without assuming that every person seen on camera is identifiable.

02

Restricted storage areas

Identify areas that need particular attention and explain the expected activity within them. Camera angles, racks and stock can limit visibility, so scope should be based on what the selected views actually show rather than a floor plan alone.

03

Opening and closing observations

Define the visible checks that matter at the start or end of your operating day. These might include activity around an entrance or an apparently open exterior door. Physical lock checks and building inspections require someone on site.

FROM OBSERVATION TO FOLLOW-UP

Clear instructions make the difference.

Select useful views

Review entrances and internal priority areas with your site lead. Confirm camera names, operating conditions and viewing restrictions, including any areas that should remain outside the monitoring scope.

Build a shift-aware brief

Document normal operating windows, planned contractor visits and the events your team wants escalated. Provide a practical method for communicating schedule changes so instructions continue to reflect the site.

Make handovers actionable

Record the time, zone and observable activity, then note any contact made and outstanding follow-up. This gives the next responsible manager context without presenting an uncertain observation as a confirmed incident.

PLAN YOUR COVERAGE

What to bring to your review.

Monitoring covers selected camera views during agreed hours. Racking, stock, lighting and connectivity affect what can be observed. It does not replace inventory controls, physical closing checks, on-site supervision or incident investigation.

Discuss Your Facility
  1. A floor plan identifying entrances and agreed restricted areas.
  2. Shift patterns, closure periods and scheduled contractor access.
  3. Camera names, approved viewing permissions and privacy exclusions.
  4. Instructions for urgent observations and routine shift reporting.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Warehouses FAQ

Can existing warehouse cameras be used?

NETEX first needs to review system compatibility, authorized remote access, internet connectivity and usable image quality. Existing equipment may be suitable, but compatibility cannot be assumed before that review.

Will monitoring verify inventory counts?

General camera observation is not an inventory audit. Counts, product identification and stock reconciliation need the appropriate warehouse records and processes. Any requested visual check must be assessed for feasibility and agreed separately.

Can different shifts have different instructions?

Yes, the monitoring plan can define different expectations by agreed operating window. Your team needs to provide current schedules and changes, along with the person authorized to approve those instructions.
