INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS MONITORING Powered by NETEX SECURITY

Yard visibility · Remote human monitoring

A clearer view of what moves through your yard.

A parked trailer, an unfamiliar vehicle and a late arrival mean different things at different yards. GlobalEye Surveillance, powered by NETEX Security, helps operators put those observations in context. We define priority camera views, coverage hours and escalation instructions with your team, then monitor within that agreed scope and record relevant activity for follow-up.

Human observation. Agreed procedures. Clear reporting.

THE AREAS THAT MATTER

A monitoring plan for truck yards.

01

Gate approaches and exits

Identify the views that show vehicles entering and leaving. Your instructions should explain expected access patterns and who can confirm an unfamiliar arrival. Where details are visible, observations can record time, direction and distinguishing vehicle features.

02

Trailer parking zones

Prioritize selected rows, isolated bays or areas holding higher-priority equipment. Establish which movements are expected during the monitoring window and which warrant review. Clear zone names help your team locate an observation without interpreting an unfamiliar camera number.

03

After-hours activity

Set instructions around your actual operating schedule, including late dispatches, maintenance and authorized visitors. Activity outside an expected pattern can be documented and escalated for confirmation; camera observation alone does not establish whether a person or movement is authorized.

FROM OBSERVATION TO FOLLOW-UP

Clear instructions make the difference.

Map the yard

Review the selected views against gate locations, trailer rows and known obstructions. Test usable visibility during the intended coverage hours, especially where parked trucks can conceal people or movements.

Define exceptions

Agree what needs attention: an unexpected arrival, activity in a restricted zone or a movement outside your schedule. Assign a contact who can confirm the operating context and a backup if unavailable.

Record and escalate

Document observable details and follow the agreed contact sequence when an escalation condition is met. Separate what the camera shows from what remains unconfirmed, so your yard team can make an informed decision.

PLAN YOUR COVERAGE

What to bring to your review.

Coverage applies to agreed hours and selected usable views. Trailer markings, license plates and people may be obscured or unreadable. Monitoring does not authorize vehicle release, operate gates or guarantee detection of yard activity.

Discuss Your Facility
  1. A yard plan with named gates, trailer rows and priority zones.
  2. Operating hours, dispatch windows and expected after-hours access.
  3. Approved camera access and a contact for connectivity problems.
  4. A vehicle-movement escalation list with primary and backup contacts.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Truck yards FAQ

Can you confirm which trailer left the yard?

Only when the relevant identifying detail is visible in an available view and within the agreed service scope. Obstructions, lighting and image quality can prevent confirmation. Observations should be checked against your dispatch records.

Can monitoring be focused on overnight hours?

Discuss the coverage window with NETEX during the site review. The agreed schedule should reflect your dispatch operations, late arrivals and the times when your selected camera views provide usable images.

Do you approve drivers or release vehicles?

This monitoring scope covers observation, reporting and agreed escalation. Driver authorization, vehicle release and gate operation remain with your nominated site personnel unless a separate written service expressly provides otherwise.
