INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS MONITORING Powered by NETEX SECURITY

Movement visibility · Camera-based observations

Give visible vehicle movements useful operational context.

An arrival becomes useful information when it includes a location, a time and a clear reason for attention. GlobalEye helps site teams define what matters in selected vehicle movement areas. Human monitoring records relevant visible activity and follows agreed escalation instructions, supporting site awareness without presenting CCTV observation as fleet tracking or automatic vehicle identification.

Human observation. Agreed procedures. Clear reporting.

THE AREAS THAT MATTER

A monitoring plan for vehicle activity.

01

Arrivals and departures

Define selected entrance and exit views and the movement exceptions that matter to your operation. Where visible, observations can describe direction, time and distinguishing features. A readable license plate or trailer identifier must never be assumed.

02

Staging and circulation areas

Identify agreed waiting lanes, turn areas or traffic approaches that need observation. Your instructions can specify when activity merits review, such as a vehicle positioned in an unexpected zone. Traffic direction and driver instructions remain with site staff.

03

Unexpected movement patterns

Provide the operating context needed to distinguish routine activity from a possible exception. A vehicle movement can be escalated for confirmation when it meets your criteria, while the report clearly separates the observed action from any assumed purpose.

FROM OBSERVATION TO FOLLOW-UP

Clear instructions make the difference.

Define what can be observed

Review selected approaches and movement areas for useful angles, image detail and obstruction. Agree the level of identifying information the service can reasonably attempt to record from those views.

Connect observations to context

Provide expected access patterns and a contact who understands dispatch or yard operations. If schedule information is part of the agreed workflow, define how your team will keep it current.

Escalate the exception

When an observed movement meets the agreed criteria, record relevant visible details and follow the contact instructions. Your nominated staff confirm authorization and decide whether operational intervention is needed.

PLAN YOUR COVERAGE

What to bring to your review.

This is observation of selected camera views during agreed hours, not GPS tracking or automatic plate recognition. Identification and movement records may be incomplete. Monitoring does not authorize vehicle release or direct site traffic.

Discuss Your Facility
  1. A site traffic plan with named entrances, exits and staging lanes.
  2. The movement exceptions your dispatch or yard team wants reviewed.
  3. Examples of vehicle details that matter, subject to image readability.
  4. A nominated contact for authorization checks and operational decisions.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Vehicle activity FAQ

Is this a GPS fleet-tracking service?

No. It uses agreed site camera views to observe relevant activity. It does not track vehicles on the road or provide continuous location data.

Are license plates read automatically?

Automatic plate recognition is not part of the described service. A visible identifier may be recorded when readable and within the agreed scope, but lighting, angle and resolution can make identification impossible.

Can camera observations be checked against dispatch records?

Your team can use reports alongside its dispatch records. Any direct comparison workflow needs to be discussed with NETEX, including access, the information provided, responsibilities and what can reliably be verified.
