INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS MONITORING Powered by NETEX SECURITY

Boundary visibility · Defined escalation routes

Put clear instructions around your site's outer edges.

A perimeter camera is useful only when its view and the response instructions are understood. GlobalEye helps you define selected boundary zones, gate approaches and expected access patterns. Human monitoring follows that agreed brief, recording relevant observations and contacting your nominated people when the conditions for escalation are met within the covered views and hours.

Human observation. Agreed procedures. Clear reporting.

THE AREAS THAT MATTER

A monitoring plan for perimeters & gates.

01

Main and secondary gates

Distinguish visitor, staff and vehicle entrances, including gates used only occasionally. Instructions should explain normal access windows and who can confirm an unexpected approach. Monitoring observes available images; it does not establish a visitor's identity or access rights.

02

Selected boundary sections

Prioritize fence lines, exterior paths or other agreed areas where camera views are useful. Note obstructions, lighting changes and blind spots before setting expectations. A visible boundary section should never be described as complete perimeter coverage.

03

Access outside expected hours

Create a clear brief for activity near a closed gate or restricted approach. Include authorized exceptions such as maintenance and deliveries, and define the contact sequence for observations that need site confirmation or further action.

FROM OBSERVATION TO FOLLOW-UP

Clear instructions make the difference.

Review the boundary

Match selected views to named gates and perimeter segments. Examine lighting and likely obstructions during intended monitoring hours, and record areas the cameras do not adequately show.

Agree the contact sequence

Define the observable conditions that warrant escalation and identify who should receive them. Set backup contacts and instructions for unresolved contact attempts, with any emergency escalation expressly addressed in the agreed procedure.

Report with location context

Record the gate or boundary segment, time and visible activity. Document contact attempts and any confirmation received, so the site team can locate the concern and understand what remains uncertain.

PLAN YOUR COVERAGE

What to bring to your review.

Coverage is limited to agreed views and hours and depends on lighting, connectivity and authorized access. Monitoring does not provide a physical barrier, guarantee intrusion detection, operate gates or guarantee any external responder's attendance.

Discuss Your Facility
  1. A boundary plan showing gates, fence segments and known blind spots.
  2. Access schedules and the process for advising authorized exceptions.
  3. Primary and backup site contacts with escalation instructions.
  4. Details of lighting, vegetation or obstructions affecting priority views.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Perimeters & gates FAQ

Does this cover the entire perimeter?

Only the selected views and hours included in the agreed plan. Camera positioning, obstructions and lighting may leave gaps. The review should make those limitations explicit before monitoring starts.

Can the team open or close my gate?

Gate operation is not part of this described monitoring scope. Your nominated personnel remain responsible for access decisions and physical gate control unless a separate written arrangement expressly provides otherwise.

What happens when activity looks suspicious?

The team follows your agreed procedure, recording observable details and contacting the nominated people when the escalation conditions are met. The procedure must define the appropriate next steps; monitoring cannot guarantee detection or responder attendance.
